Answer to Question 1

B, C, D, E, F
The custom of taking on symptoms of pregnancy and childbirth by the man is called couvade. The symptoms may appear around the third month or at delivery and may include nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, weight gain, food cravings, fatigue, and mood swings. There are many different theories that identify possible reasons for this condition; these include sympathy and identification with the pregnant woman, being left out, feeling guilty about putting the woman in this condition, or the stress of living in such an unpredictable situation.

Answer to Question 2

B
If implantation, fertilization, or pregnancy does not occur, estrogen and progesterone levels drop, resulting in menses. Increase in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) occurs in phase 2 and is responsible for ovulation. Estrogen levels rise during the second phase and progesterone levels increase following the surge of LH during phase 3 in preparation for implantation of the fertilized egg.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
