Common signs of TSS include fever of sudden onset greater than 38.4 C (101.1 F), rash, and hypotension with a systolic blood pressure less than 90 mm Hg, leading to dizziness or lightheadedness. Shortness of breath and facial swelling do require medical attention but are not related to TSS.
