Answer: In addition to forming positive energy networks, effective managers will also foster positive energy in other people by (1) exemplifying or role-modeling positive energy themselves, (2) recognizing and rewarding people who exemplify positive energy, and (3) providing opportunities for individuals to form friendships at work (which usually are positive energy creators). Also, students should provide an appropriate example from their own life concerning a manager that fostered positive energy within them.
