Organizational commitment is the degree to which people feel psychological attachment toward their organizations, feel involved, and are interested in remaining with them. Continuance commitment is the desire to remain with an organization because of beliefs about the costs of leaving. Affective commitment is the desire to remain with the organization because of liking it or an attraction to it. Normative commitment is a feeling of obligation to remain with an organization because of pressure from others.
