Secondary sources are written reports on studies prepared by someone other than the researcher who conducted the study. Primary sources, on the other hand, are descriptions of studies written by the researchers who conducted them. A literature review is a type of secondary source that consists of a written summary of the state of evidence on a research problem. Ghost writer is not a type of research study.
