Answer to Question 1

ANS: A, B, D
Setting goals for a healthier lifestyle; having low-calorie, nutritious snacks available; and de-creasing computer time will assist in managing childhood obesity. Allowing snacking in front of the TV will not decrease childhood obesity. Purchasing a gym membership may be expensive and if not used on a regular basis will have limited effect on obesity.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A
Children exposed to ETS experience increased episodes of middle ear infections, asthma, upper respiratory tract infections, and more missed school days. SIDS incidence increases with ETS exposure, but this is not a concern with a preschool-aged child.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
