Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Because the patient is hearing impaired, asking the patient to rate pain on a scale of 1 to 10 or using a body with keywords would be inappropriate. Using the scale with faces and numbers would be the most appropriate way to assess the patient's pain. Withholding pain medication until the patient requests it is inappropriate patient care.

Answer to Question 2

A, C, D
Hypoglycemic reaction: rapid shallow respirations, irritability, tremors, personality changes, and may lose consciousness.
