Answer to Question 1

C
Working in patients' homes requires the nurse to be creative and to learn some improvisation. Supplies and equipment frequently are limited.

Answer to Question 2

D
Response D is correct. It is ethical to support a resident's right to be free from side effects. Legally, however, the physician has ordered the medication to be given. Responses A and B are ethical problems because of the concern for resident safety. Response C is a nursing responsibility, and no ethical problem exists.
