Outlays must be below the capitated level.
Medical services can be restricted.
Physicianpatient relationship can be compromised.
Physician can opt for bonus rather than giving the highest level of care.
Defenders of managed care say there is more preventative care.
Low or no deductibles.
More plans are offering wider choice of HCPs.
More plans are rewarding doctors for achieving higher ratings by patients.

Get regular medical exams.
Make arrangements for health insurance or arrangements to afford potential health costs.
Know what to do in a health emergency.
