Answer to Question 1

The text defines reality as follows: Reality is what is. Reality is what is happening. Our understanding of reality comes from two places. The first place is through our senses. The sounds we hear are reality. The sight of a bird flying and clouds floating behind it is reality. The second place is what is happening internally. Many sensations are always happening within us, such as balance, equilibrium, and physiological processes such as digestion, our heart beating, and breathing.
