Fibrocystic breast condition is a common noncancerous disorder; symptoms range from a small palpable lump to large masses of irregular tissue found in both breasts. Possible causes are hormonal imbalances or changes. It has also been associated with caffeine consumption. If needed, treatment can include removal of fluids from or surgical removal of the cysts.
