Answer to Question 1

Answer: Research suggests that a man's exposure to chemicals influences the health of his future child. Some disorders can be traced to sperm damaged by chemicals. Sperm are naturally vulnerable to toxic chemicals and genetic damage.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: As opposed to other methods of contraception, sterilization is permanent. It can be an excellent method of contraception for committed, mutually monogamous couples, as it prevents unplanned pregnancies among couples that do not want any children or any more children, but does not prevent STIs.
