The role of a forms committee is to scrutinize each proposed form to facilitate efficient use of the patient record, ensure that documentation collected on forms is in compliance with accrediting, regulatory, and reimbursement organizations, enhance quality of documentation in the patient medical record, and streamline the forms approval process.
