Answer: They are exotic species which are proliferating in Florida. The warm, tropical conditions mimic their native habitats so their reproduction is unfettered. Moreover, they do not have any natural predators to limit their numbers.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Feral animals are domesticated animals which have returned to the wild while exotic animals are those which have been placed or have accidently entered another region on purpose or by accident through the actions of humans.
