Answer to Question 1

Hot springs are any spring with water temperatures higher than 37C, but they may be much hotter.
The heat for most hot springs comes from magma or cooling igneous rocks. Some are heated when
water goes deep and experiences an increase in temperature due to the geothermal gradient.

Answer to Question 2
