A fast-moving current first deposits only coarser sediments, but as it slows, it deposits continually
finer sediments



Answer to Question 2

In a marine transgression sea level rises and the depositional environments parallel to the shoreline
migrate landward. The facies are sandstone, shale and then limestone.
