Answer to Question 1

D
Feedback:
The RN has more formal education than the LPN/LVN. Therefore, he or she will almost always be the nurse manager, team leader, or charge nurse in an acute-care setting. In home care, the case manager is nearly always required to be an RN. In addition, many RNs give direct client care, as do LPN/LVNs. In complex nursing situations, the LPN/LVN is expected to assist the RN. In the nursing home setting, the LPN/LVN may function as a charge nurse, supervising unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs).

Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
