Answer to Question 1

10-15

Rationale: The drying mechanism in automatic processing should remove the majority of moisture from the film. Excessive drying can remove all of the moisture, causing the film emulsion to crack. A processed radiograph should retain 10-15 of its moisture.

Answer to Question 2

mediolataral

Rationale: The mediolateral projection of the knee with proper flexion of about 20 degrees will help open the patellofemoral joint. Overflexion of the part and/or extreme rotation of the femoral condyles will close off the patellofemoral joint.
