Rationale: The image properly represents the entire skull with the mandibular condyles anterior to the petrous pyramids indicating the patient's head was hyperextended sufficiently.

Answer to Question 2

mediolateral projection of the calcaneus

Rationale: Examining the centering on the image, it is directed 1 inch inferior to the medial malleolus to center more on the calcaneus. The mediolateral calcaneus shows all the articulations of the calcaneus and the base of the 5th metatarsal in profile.
