The patient is not moved, positioned, or draped until the anesthesia provider indicates it is safe to do so.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F
When ready to count the tapes or sponges, break the paper band. Breaking the band is a good way to designate which stacks have been counted and which ones have not.
