(a) Testudines (Chelonia), which is made up of turtles, tortoises, and terrapins
(b) Serpentes, which includes the snakes, pythons, and boas
(c) Squamata, which includes various species of iguanas and lizards
(d) Crocodilia, which includes the various species of crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials

Reptiles are cold-blooded vertebrates that possess lungs and breathe atmospheric air. They also have bony
skeletons, scales, or horny plates covering their bodies and a heart that has two auricles and one ventricle.
