Answer to Question 2

C
Nurses who do not fully address their subconscious motivations to participate in professional practice, they may succumb to older, less-desirable behavior patterns learned in childhood. For example, if a nurse has a pattern of putting others' requirements ahead of his or her own needs, the nurse may act in a codependent fashion, enabling him- or herself to be abused.
