Answer to Question 1

D
Here a member gains insight into his own experiences from hearing about the experiences of others through interpersonal learning. Ventilation refers to expressing feelings. Universality refers to members realizing their feelings are common to most people and not abnormal. Imitative behavior involves copying or borrowing the adaptive behavior of others.

Answer to Question 2

A
Biological theorists believe that an individual's sexual variation is related to genetic influences. Behavioral theorists believe that modes of sexual expression are learned responses, and psychoanalytical theorists view modes of sexual expression other than heterosexual expression to be neurotic or psychopathic in nature and due to the Oedipus/Electra complex of childhood. Psychosocial theory is not cited as a theory on sexual orientation.
