Answer to Question 1

ANS: 1
Flashbacks and recurrent dreams of the event are criteria for the diagnosis of PTSD. Option 2 refers to agoraphobia. Option 3 characterizes a dependent person. Option 4, ease in talking about the experience, is uncharacteristic of PTSD.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 2
Abused children, especially young children, are unable to put feelings into words as they describe events. Play therapy affords the tools through which the child can access and work through feel-ings. The other options are not purposes of play therapy.
