The head, lungs, heart, spleen, and liver in cattle, sheep, and hogs are inspected for signs of disease, parasites, or other problems that might render the meat less than wholesome.

Answer to Question 2

The main benefits of using gene splicing to improve crops are:

1 . It is much safer than crossbreeding.
2 . It is much more precise than crossbreeding.
