Parasites may also be grouped into two general classifications. These are internalinside the
animaland externalliving on the outside of the animal.

Answer to Question 2

A veterinarian should normally be consulted:
when you are planning and executing a disease-prevention program
anytime an animal is having reproductive problems (Such problems include failure to conceive,
abortion, or great difficulty in giving birth.)
when an animal dies suddenly for no apparent reason (A veterinarian should be consulted to
determine the cause of death.)
when animals have symptoms of a contagious disease (This will help minimize spread of the
disease.)
