Answer to Question 1

Tree topping refers to reducing the total height of the tree by one-third to one-half by
removing upper scaffold branches; this method is not commonly used anymore
because it has been found to be detrimental to the plant.

Answer to Question 2

Tree paint should not be used because it does not have any beneficial effect.
