Answer to Question 1

Genetic scientists have been able to develop plants that are resistant to herbicides. They
also have developed the ability to exactly locate the parts of the genes that control
certain characteristics.



Answer to Question 2

People must have food, shelter, and clothing. All these needs, especially food, are directly
dependent on agriculture
