If a dose of medication is missed, it may be taken within an hour of when it was scheduled. If the patient remembers the missed dose close to the time when the next dose is to be taken, he should take the regular dose and miss the skipped dose.

These medications should be taken exactly as ordered. Stools should be checked for bleeding. Therapeutic effect may take 1 to 2 weeks. To decrease stomach upset, take with food or milk.
