A beta1 agonist increases the patient's heart rate and blood pressure.
A beta1 agonist increases the patient's heart rate and would not be indicated for a patient with a heart rate of 102/minute.
A beta1 agonist is not indicated for high blood pressure, because it would further elevate it and put the patient at risk for hypertensive crisis.
A beta1 agonist does not affect the lungs and therefore would not be indicated for a patient with vasodilation of the bronchi.
