To move secretions in the right and left lower lobe superior bronchi, the client is positioned:

To move secretions from the right and left upper lobe bronchi, the client is positioned:

B. Have client lie flat on stomach with pillow under stomach. Percuss and vibrate below the scapulas on either side of spine.
A. Have client sit in chair and lean forward for left and right upper lobe posterior apical branch.
C. Having the client lying on the right side in Trendelenburg's position could facilitate both the left upper lobe lingular bronchi and the left lower lobe lateral bronchi.
D. On the left side with head elevated is not a correct position.

C. Have client lie flat on back with small pillow under knees. Percuss and vibrate just below clavicle on either side of sternum.
A. Have client sit in chair for left and right anterior apical bronchi.
B. Having the client lying on the right side in Trendelenburg's position could facilitate both the left upper lobe lingular bronchi and the left lower lobe lateral bronchi.
D. Lying on the left side in Trendelenburg's position is incorrect position.
