What is meant by the file drawer problem' regarding meta-analysis?

Question 2

One problem of meta-analysis is that two different studies may involve subtle differences in treatments but call the treatments by the same name. Give an example.

NUMEROUS STUDIES MAY NOT HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED BY THE ANALYST; THESE STUDIES WERE LESS LIKELY TO BE STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT AND THE RESULTING META-ANALYSIS CAN BE BIASED.

Answer to Question 2

ANY REASONABLE ANSWER OK. EXAMPLE: CHEMOTHERAPY MAY BE APPLIED WEEKLY IN ONE STUDY BUT BIWEEKLY IN ANOTHER.
