Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

Since P(A and B) = P(A) P(B  A) = (0.4)(0.2) = 0.08, then P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B)  P(A and B) = 0.4 + 0.3  0.08 = 0.62.
