The scores on a midterm test in a college mathematics course were found to be normally distributed with a mean of 78 and a standard deviation of 9.
 
  a. What percentage of students scored between 69 and 96?
  b. Find the range of scores that includes the middle 50 of all scores.

Question 2

Do you believe that grain yield is correlated with the amount of fertilizer applied? If so, will the correlation be positive or negative? Explain.
