 The band has developed a hybrid ethno-jazz fusion sound which appeals to sophisticated urbanites.
 The band has blended Western pop instruments and harmonies with the traditional Indonesian plog/slndro scale system and instruments to create its unique sound.
 The band is secular; regional (Sundanese, the dominating culture in western Java), and international (jazz fusion).


Answer to Question 2

 knobbed gong instruments from large hanging gongs to sets of kettle gongs
 metal keyed instruments (metallophones) suspended over cylindrical resonators
 other melodic instruments include fiddle, zithers, xylophones, and a bamboo flute
 drums, small to large, double-headed, struck with hands or stick
