Answer to Question 1

Disc ceramic capacitors are commonly found on electronic circuit boards and are typically 0.1 micro farads

Answer to Question 2

A Capacitor will store energy when an electric charge is forced onto its plates from a power source. A capacitor will still retain this charge even after disconnection from the power source. A mishandled capacitor will deliver a shock that can be severe and even fatal, especially for large capacitors charged to a high voltage.
