Answer to Question 1

The maximum distance between supports for 2 1/8 type L copper is 10 feet.

Answer to Question 2

317  13 = 304 psig. Total subcooling is calculated by determining the saturation temperature of 317 psig R410a that is approximately 100
and the saturation temperature of R410a at 304 psig, which is approximately 97F. 4F of subcooling will be required to prevent flash gas. 100F  97 = 3F + 1F = 4F
