It is possible to obtain insurance for nontraditional items such as body parts if the body parts being insured are instrumental in the policy holders profession such as right arms for professional football quarterbacks or noses for singers. These types of policies are usually underwritten by Lloyds of London and the premiums for these policies are expensive compared to traditional insurance policies.
