How would you search for Kuiper belt objects? What features would you include in a systematic search for Kuiper belt objects  where in the sky would you look, and in which wavelength regime? What features would you look for in images? What other
 
  types of objects might you accidentally find, as well?

What advantage did Tycho have compared to other astronomical observers of his time?

Answer to Question 1

May include: Would look near the ecliptic using very sensitive visible light (preferably red) or near-infrared light. Would look for streaks compared to point-like stars, or for points that move from night to night. Might accidentally find asteroids, which would have much longer streaks.
