Demonstrate how the client/helper relationship values shape these invitations. Why is specificity important in self-challenge? What did Berenson and Mitchell mean by the right to challenge clients and how can counselors earn that right? Compare and contrast unused strengths and weaknesses and how they relate to self-challenge. Illustrate how to help clients build successes.

Answer to Question 2

Explain the role of making suggestions and giving recommendations and summarize some important guidelines surrounding these. Explain the roles of confrontation and encouragement in counseling.
