  B. Clinicians should not ask clients directly about possible suicidal intention because it could trigger suicidal behaviors by bringing up the topic.
  C. Clinicians should use empirically supported assessment tools to assess for risk factors, warning signs and protective factors.
  D. Clinicians should leave the client in the room and immediately get the advice of a supervisor or consultant.
