Using rounds might be more advantageous than using dyads when the leader wants to hear briefly from everyone, to check in with everyone, or to locate energy quickly in the group. These are easier to do in a round because the leader would not have to physically move around the room to gather such information, and only one person talks at a time in a round (versus multiple people in different dyads talking at once), so it would be easier for the leader to hear.
