Four ways that technology research can help are (1) improving the application of technology to natural resource management, (2) protecting crops without heavy reliance on pesticides, (3) genetically improving key crops, and (4) taking global action to advance scientific knowledge and its application.

Many of the people who suffer from hunger are people who live in the rural areas in developing countries
