Explain how you would sample a cake for sensory evaluation with three judges plus volume by polar planimeter and a compressimeter test.

Answer to Question 1

The cake would be baked in a rectangular loaf pan. Slices on both ends of the loaf would be removed. The cake would be totally sliced in 1/2 inch pieces using a cutting box. The slices would be numbered from one end to the other. The center three slices would be used for judges 1, 2, and 3 . One adjacent slice would be used for the volume measurement. The adjacent slice on the other side would be used for the compressimeter test.
