Answer to Question 1

This is an antifungal agent to counteract the yeast organism. It probably acts by binding to sterols in the fungal cell membrane, altering cell permeability and allowing leakage of intracellular components. Nystatin can cause transient nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Answer to Question 2

This is a yeast infection that could infect the mouth and esophagus, making it painful to chew and swallow. It could also cause diarrhea and cramps.
