Which of the following is a name given in some states to the court that exercises the function of settling decedents' estates?

Question 2

Write a short essay explaining the difference between per capita and per stirpes that provides at least one example for each type of distribution. In your opinion, which type of distribution is preferable? Fully explain your reasoning.

Per capita is Latin for by head and indicates that succession is to be determined by the number of people in a class or group. Per stirpes is Latin for by roots and indicates succession by right of representation, share and share alike
