Answer to Question 1

Stress is the nonspecific response of the body to any demands made upon it. Stressors are specific or nonspecific agents or situations that cause a stress response in the body. Eustress is a positive event that challenges us to grow, adapt, and find creative solutions in our lives, e.g., getting married. Distress is a negative event that can deplete or even destroy life energy, e.g., the death of a loved one.
