Theinformation to be listed on an operation's site should include such items asthe operation's location, hours of operation, menu, and current promotions.Other key areas that lead to effective marketing include instructions formaking reservations or placing orders. Managers should also ensure theirsites are easily located by those using search engines to aid in theirestablishment selections.

Emails can also be used as an effective marketing tool. Areas of importancewhen using emails for marketing include recognizing that emails are publicdocuments that may be viewed by many people. Offensive language orimages should never be included in a manager's email. To be most effective,emails should be short and targeted and allow for easy opting out by thosewho no longer wish to receive them.
