Meze are appetizers in both Greece and Turkey. Formally they are called mezethes. They
would compare to Spanish tapas, in fact, the two could be directly connected. Examples of
Mezes would be grilled octopus, dolma, marinated olives, roasted chickpeas, and feta
cheese.
