Pisto and Samfaina are both traditional Spanish vegetable preparations. Both
contain olive oil, garlic, bell peppers, green peppers and tomatoes. Samfaina also
will always include eggplant while with pisto it is optional. They are both
basically thick-like sauces which are greatly enjoyed in Spain. These could be
directly tied to one of the most famous dishes of Provence in Franceratatouille.
